One of my favorite Fairmont's to use a comp stay and suite upgrade is the Fairmont Mission inn, in Sanoma California. We stayed there last year, and the rooms were spacious, everyone recieves a complimentary bottle of wine in their room. we used a suite upgrade certificate and recieved a mission suite which included a fireplace, and and spa tub which was very nice.

We're using comp nights and a suite upgrade at the Fairmont Kea Lani in a week and a half, so i'll let you know how it is.

I'm currently Platinum, but have recieved great service from at all levels.
