Plus, I fare from Taiwan to South East Asia does not allow you to stop over in HKG on the way out, whcih means if you want to connect any tickets to that one, it has to start from TPE not HKG.
No the OP is flying TPE - HKG ( his first leg of the trip) what OP means dropping first flight means ( dropping the finish route from PER- HKG (OP drop flight is TPE) - TPE )
