Here's an interesting twist the op could try if a real gambler: the account summary detail on the iPhone app DOES show a rounded-up whole number of segments.

I currently have 51.5 segments but the "Mileage Plus Summary" from the "My Account" tab on the iPhone app shows "52 Premier Qualifying Segments." If it were 12/31 and I was stuck at 59.5 segments, I'd sure take a screenshot of what the app's 60 segments!
