I use Velcro wraps to tie up each cord and then place several smaller cables in one pouch

Specifically get the wraps that have a method to attach to the cable so you don't lose them when the cable is in use (Staples carries them)

I use a soft pencil case to hold all my smaller power cords, keep laptop cord separate. The earbuds are stored in a special pocket within my briefcase
