Hah the video guy kind of lost me when he started tapping on the non-touch screen, but in all seriousness I had one of those nonfunctional IFEs when flying HKG-JFK and it really sucked. I got a US$50 voucher for duty free, which hardly compensates for the 16 hours of utter boredom I had to endure.
