I have also been googling Topguest- trying to understand- and this is what I found- (you may know already.) Up until now TG's business model was to make money when you sign up for a loyalty program through Topguest. In December, Topguest was bought by Switchfly, (formerly ezrez software) switchfly.com. Topguest's founder left in June to work for the VC company that gave TG their startup capital. According to this article, Switchfly bought TG to integrate with its other products and offer its clients functionality around social media ( thats my take)
