You're more than welcome to visit HKG (or why not PVG where I lived for 4 years). I agree 100% with the things others have already pointed out in this thread, regarding "young boys are spoiled rotten" (and also girls for that matter). I'm not saying that every child is like that over here, of course not! But it's definitely a huge difference compared to what I'm used to seeing in the west.

This is also, unfortunately, why I wasn't at all surprised by the OP. I see things like that happening everyday here, meaning that kids do pretty much what they want without you hearing as much as a pip from their parents/grandparents. Again, and I want to stress this, I'm not saying that all parents over here treat their kids this way. But there's definitely to many who does.
