The front desk person was not very accommodating in trying to secure for me the best room availability; she claimed that literally every room was spoken both at 1pm when I tried first to check-in and again at 3pm when I waited to see what opened up. I find that quite unlikely, but after pushing a couple times, I gave up the effort. And the breakfast amenity (Continental breakfast) required me to explain to two different hotel staffers how it worked. "Um, yes, I do get breakfast every day, and yes, it does cover me and my guest." They were nice enough, but I rather not need to haggle with this details; they should know them and I expect they soon will improve that. Once all was said and done, I liked the property. Just expect it to be an an old New Orleans hotel, nothing more, nothing less.
Care to PM/email me more details of your stay?
Thank you.
