Yes there is. And it actually can get quite annoying during flight when people continue to think it is a restroom and try and open the door and when the FAs come up and grab something out of the closet. Seat is great, just no overhead bin space in row 1, no restroom anywhere near, and tough for the FAs to get to your seat. I would hands down go with the upper deck
