I don't mind paying more per se....like I said I am currently playing 650 a month for the Cruze.... Assuming I wasn't in a multimonth deal at all I could go out and get a multimonth full size (which a captiva falls under) for about a 100 dollars more a month... The problem I have is in order to get one from my local hertz here the surcharge to my current rental would cost more than rerenting the full size at 750 and still paying the 650 for the Cruze....

Hopefully people follow what I'm saying... If I traded in the Cruze to get a captiva I would pay about 1400 a month... If I just rented a captiva it would be 750.. But then i would be paying 650 for the Cruze as well... All I want is one payment and one car that is a "reasonable" cost? Do I seem to be asking to much? As for the quick move.... I was an out of work teacher who was looking at having to sub.... Alaska offered me a job and I took it ... Never really planned on being up here.. But I am and have to make the most of it..

So the advice question was how to get one payment for one car at a reasonable cost... It doesn't have to be a captiva, just a car with awd and snow tires... Something that everyone else on the road here would have...maybe a block heater too so I don't destroy their car,l
