Resident fares a bit of a minefield to be honest.

I've noticed that they now seem to offer two levels of resident fares.....very cheap (about 50% off normal fare) and for some reason a more expensive one. Neither of which earn miles.
I've also noticed as you stated that sometimes a resident fare can be more expensive than a normal fare. Maybe with LAN changing systems they've somehow cocked things up?
