As a father of a 10 yr old boy and a 3 yr old Princess. It is our responsibility to look after our children everywhere. It is just that they have a mind of their own and we need to guide them properly on how to behave. We travel fully paid F(or now J to YYZ) with a bit of a discount for the todler, but she does have the same rights (not more) as any other passenger. One flight this summer she was a nightmare as she came down with a high temp after departing HKG for YYZ and we could not apologise enough to the people around us. One person was complaining to the ISM, but the ISM has known us (she is YYZ based) for many years and cooled him out. It is better then 2 years ago when we were flying with the same ISM and one of the Cabin Crew wanted to hold the 'Little Dben' and I warned her that it looks like the is about to be airsick and I was told not to worry..... guess what???? At the moment when kids are not behaving100% the way we want them to, it is high drama, but looking back on it, we always smile with thinking of joy they bring us. I just love it when my daughter is shouting blast off during the rollout and rotate during take off.
