If I were you, I would get the Ink Plus and Ink Bold, and use all that spending to meet the requirements on the new cards. That would net you 120k UR (50k from meeting spend on each card, plus 20k for the actual spend). That's about a 6% return if you were to just redeem the points for cash, or could be higher depending how you use them.
If you don't want to get the two cards (or already have them), another option is to call Chase and speak to a supervisor. Tell them you have 20k in spending coming up, and you'd like to use your Sapphire, but the Citi Forward offers you a better return. Ask if they can do anything to make it more worth your while to use the Sapphire. Maybe they can privately offer you a better reward, or maybe they can just toss 30k UR on top if you spend 20k. Maybe only a 1 in 10 shot of this working, but it's worth a shot.
If it's a choice between Sapphire and Forward, I think 5 Citi TYP are worth more than 2.14 UR.
