Just wondering whether this is completely dead or what other experience of it was?

On a recent trip after our luggage was delayed we needed to make a larger than usual amount of giftshop purchases in no less than three separate marriotts. In all three locations I was simply told, 'we don't do that, sorry' when I mentioned the discount.

Anyone any experience or is this such a small "benefit" that no-one cares?

Should I mention these hotels in a letter to MR or in a PM to Marriott Concierge?
