I think you're trying to recover your initial assertion, that some of BA crew are some of the worst staff in the UK, by sweeping generalisations that withstand little scrutiny.

Recruitment is an imperfect practice, and suboptimal recruitment choices will be made. But it's a big leap from that to the conclusion that some of these, less than perfect recruits, would also be among the worst that the UK offers.
