My question is regarding the Delta policy for employees flying first class. Policy?
On this day there were 17 paid customers on the upgrade list. I witnessed one customer specifically asking for the upgrade and the answer was, "you were not upgraded".
The flight in question is the Detroit to Cincinnati flight. Every week there are between 3 and 12 Delta FAs and Pilots returning home. Four of the past 5 flights a Delta pilot has snagged a first class seat.
How do I know the person in the pilot uniform was a Delta pilot? The name tag and words on the uniform "Delta".
A little extra leg room if for only 45 minutes sometimes makes a difference...
