Just my personal point of view, as a passenger...

I usually travel alone. I like time to myself. I interact with the crew during the service, but outside meal times, I enjoy quiet time to myself, watching films, listening to music and maybe reading a book.

I don't particularly want to spend my time on a plane entertaining or looking after someone else's children.

I am single, won't be having children and have no interest in them. So, why would I want to spend my time on a plane, in a seat that I have paid cash, or saved very hard with my FF miles for, looking after, or "putting up" with the behaviour of other peoples children.

Just my thoughts and feelings on the subject.
