but it does bring up why I don't like the UDU concept because I suspect I'd never get upgraded on AA.
Huh? AA doesn't have UDU except for EXPs. PLT's and below are subject to E500's. Incidentally, my upgrade rate this year as a PLT is 14 out of 16.
