Rimowa cabin trolley IATA vs 56cm - which one?

Sorry for this slightly irrelevant topic.

I'm currently using the Rimowa IATA (55 x 40 x 20 cm) carry-on. I've never been told that it's too big for carry-on on CX.

I'm planning on buying another Rimowa carry-on - I'd like to get the Cabin Trolley (56 x 45 x 25 cm). There is a huge difference in capacity (45L vs 32L) and it would be great for slightly longer trips or when I need to pack warmer clothing.

My question is, will CX let me use the larger one as carry-on? Does anybody here use this one on a regular basis on CX? I understand that other airlines are quite strict and I'll use the smaller one when I'm not travelling CX. My question is based solely on travel on CX.

For reference, CX website says cabin luggage must not exceed 56 x 36 x 23 cm.

If it makes any difference, I travel (almost) only in J and I'm a GO (DM in another 9 months).

Thanks!
