UPDATE from Phoenix

I phoned BA and am pleased to report that they were agreeable to change the connecting flight from LHR to FCO to the later flight ... no charge. They were even able to seat me and my companion together.

The connection will be tight but I'm optimistic that a little sweet talking will speed it up.

We are in CW going over so we will be able to use the fast track.

I know the lesson about 2 PNRs but when I booked this trip there were no award seats between LHR and FCO.

Life is an adventure. I try to go with the flow.
