Hi r99jrs, Welcome to FT and the BA Board.

Like others, I don't think there is much mileage (no pun intended) in pushing your complaint further. You were disappointed with what you got, and BA have offered the 10K miles (each I hope) in return. I am unfamiliar with the exit row seats in WT, but looking at the seat plan the only ones that appear to have a crew jump seats opposite them are row 40 (assuming it was a 747). That (crew position) seems to be quite a long way over from row 40, past door 4 and with the loo in between. Unfortunately, your extra fee didn't ever offer you privacy (you don't even get this guaranteed in the higher fare cabins). But you should have been able to enjoy your extra leg room, which is what you paid for. How much extra leg room is debatable, but it would not mean all that space in front of you up to the crew rest, not the space in front of the door.

Look at it this way. 9K miles +£27 is enough to get a reward flight saver to Paris, or a one way WT+ club world upgrade - so the 10K miles could be worth quite a bit if you work it to your advantage - and worth a lot more than £55
