Getting back in the sky
Hi i worked in the industry for 13 years at 5 different airlines starting at TWA (I'm aging myself!!!
) and ending at you guessed it SouthWorst (oops did i spell it wrong lol). I have a condition wherein my body gains weight at rapid speeds despite my diet and what not. I DO NOT EXERCISE. When i worked at Southworst I was on the heavyset side and had problems moving down the aisles. Alot of times I could not manuver without brushing up against passengers but i was ABLE TO GET FROM POINT A TO POINT B. Irregardless, I was the most likable flight attendant in the air. I always put on a happy face
despite problems with my family or my own personal health and what not. I always said welcome to the friendly skies on said airline even when i worked at other airlines and people thought it was the best lol and i never talked back to a passenger once even when several times i was insulted for my weight issues and body odor.
I am told i am good looking. Irregardless, i was fired from SW for no reason
except that i am sure this was a racist issue because of my weight. THIS IS ILLEGAL AND I COULD HAVE WON MILLIONS IN A COURT CASE BUT I DID NOT TRY BECAUSE I HAD TO LET GO I have learned to let go of the bullying and namecalling because your all you got. ^ Your your own best friend. It gets better. Now after several years working on :-:broadway:-:, i want to return to the skies. being in the air is all i want. i earned near strait A grade point average at the Air Acamedy and did many hours of continuing education to ensure that i am the most qualified attendant. I am friendly and hopeful and have a positive outlook on life. I always tell the truth but would never insult a passenger no matter what they do to me or what they call me. My mottos in life are "Stress-free" 'Nothing carved in stone" "Keep on believing" and "go team"and i say these with a smile and encoragement to everyone i meet even people who insult me. I have braces on my teeth but they are invisible and they do hurt but i am abfighter. Irregardless of that, I WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. I know this will be an uphill journey to get back in the sky but i'm strong and i'm a good person. i believe in me. I am overqualified after 15 years in the sky and several years as actor/model/dancer on broadway. I am told I am a a-lister, a team player and multi-tasker. Broadway has taught me its not about talent it is about who you know. u can be the best but without knowing the right people. their loss. So i am on here to network.
and get to know people.
We can even be friends. I collect postcards and we can send them to each other. Thank you for your consideration.
:- I am a big fan of the hunger games and i took that last line from katniss when she hit the apple with the arrow and said thank you for your consideration. I relate to katniss more than any other character in the movie to give you an idea of how strong i am and how i won't give up. I would definitely have volunteered. That is the kind of person I am.
HAPPY FRIDAY!!
