Size is about 2/3 the height of a typical rollerboard and can fit under the seat. This is the only bag I have. The FA comes by late into the boarding process and points to the bag and inquires about its owner. I reluctantly say me and she says "Sir you're going to have to put that under your seat so we can fit more rollerboards overhead."

I tell her that's my only bag and I'd like it to stay in the overhead bin. I state that just because my bag is smaller I shouldn't have to put it under the seat in front. I explain that that's only going to encourage people to bring larger bags so they aren't forced to put them under the seat. I further explain again that it's my only bag. FA doesn't care. I'm already pretty BS at this point.

This is where I almost lose it: She waves a gentle kettle back (who has not one but two roller board sized bags) and puts them **both** in the overhead bins, one of them going sideways where my bag was. I let out a light "Wow this is unbelievable." She walks over and asks me what I said? I said nothing I'm trying to read please leave me alone.

Is this absolute bull or am I just overreacting. This never happens to me in the front.

Thanks for giving me a place to vent. I'm wondering if this is worth a letter to Delta. Is this really their policy? If so it is exceptionally broken.

OP - it seems like you ignored my advice of starting a single thread that will cater to all things "MBWMBW".
