+1 - We've done this for all our people. Travel profile must match passport and DL. While the intl. border issue is completely OT, there are countries which use non-western characters and thus immigration & seecurity personnel are simply comparing two documents to make sure they look the same.

Minor thing, saves time and avoids exactly the downstream problem which will cause the pax delays when the ID scanners are activated for real.
