The chances of getting that upgrade from NOR-1 probably would be better than instead of hoping that you'd be upgraded to a room not necessarily "entitled" to but hoping for via Gold status.

Of course I checked the NOR1 box. In my experience these upgrades show up in the reservation as well when granted.
No, I just cancelled, I was that annoyed. Their loss, more than mine.
