Go through an indonesian or Phillipines airport and art in Sweden won't be that significant.

And if putting a couch with cushions in the shape of bags in Aldergrove as an artistic exhibit would have caused "inciting terrorism and interfering with the security forces in the line of duty", no wonder the Troubles dragged on so long.
You are, of course, entitled to your opinion. However, a mother that is prepared to hide a live and armed fertilizer bomb under her own baby in order to get it past an army checkpoint is fanatical enough, I think you would agree, to ensure the troubles and the scrupulous attention to vigilance continued ad infinitum!

The "anal retentiveness" to which Hiddy refers is, of course, due to our own media attention. Every time the rules are about to be relaxed, a bloody reported shows us how easy it is to get xyz past security. This means the Government kicks COBRA's a55, which means COBRA kicks the donkey belonging to the DFT who then go and kick the BAA's sorry a55! By the time it gets to the poor man or woman at the scanner, their trousers have a definite sheen to them!

We either take security seriously or not at all. If we're going to take it seriously, then shopkeepers and managers must play their part too.
