This idea of the rental company offering to pay for a cab assumes you are staying local, and going to/from airport, hotel, and work. I wonder what would happen for customers with one-way reservations, who won't be sticking around for long in the city, or have already done their business in the pickup city and are picking up the car right before they leave. Cross country cab ride anyone?
