I was on the LH454 FRA-SFO A380 flight yesterday in Business Class (a paid ticket). In the middle of the flight in between meals I went up to the galley requesting a snack. I saw sandwiches and fruit bowls laid out on a tray and reached for both of them. The stewardess said that I should wait until they came out with the tray and that I could pick only one item.

I was more amused than angry at this. Are things that bad at Lufthansa that they are now rationing fruit in B class?
