I took a look in MMB at upgrading an upcoming WT+ flight from LHR-LAX-LHR to CW. The system quoted a rather staggering upgrade fee of £11,526.
Now I know BA are quite proud of their Club class product but this seems a touch excessive.
Q: Is your WT+ booking a flexible one? Is there a Saturday night away?
FWIW, there are certainly CW fares LHR-LAX-LHR (in full J) which cost well over £9k, so although £11,526 is certainly too much, it may not be quite as over the top as you think it is... ??
