Did you put down one or two people on the reservation, or add anything in the comments about there being a second person using Spouse Stays Free?

If you did not do that, it's pretty silly to make any assumption that they will use a crystal ball to see if you are really one person or two, they will assume it's just one person.

Not sure why you expected an executive room, or why you believe just because they are for sale they will give them away, it's not at all stated that will happen.
