Here's a friend of a friend story.

I was checking to see if I could get on standby for an earlier flight and I overhead a gentlemen in your exact situation. He went about it all wrong and was demanding this and that.

It looks like with the merger (acquisition), they did not roll over some of the status atran folks to delta. I don't think they are going to make those changes retroactive.
