I have one that I bought in China. Despite using 1 free night voucher at the hotel where the package was purchased, I have doubt of its claimed use within Asia. Hong Kong Hilton never heard of it. I can't register the card on the website as there is 'no record'. That may be because the premium club membership offered in China only covers a few Hiltons in the mainland, Malaysia, and Thailand. No mention of Hong Kong in the "participating hotels" page. And no mention of Japan on that page so it might not carry over.
But the "no record" problem is a different issue entirely.
