Me too, when buying bottles of fizz to drink at home.

Although I did have an amusing experience in a local pub for a work meeting earlier this year. I was actually meeting with an exec from Coca-Cola Enterprises (the bottler in the UK), and we were sitting down having waitress servce. Nice girl comes over to take our order. My guest ordered a beer, and I ordered a Diet Coke. The waitress said to me: "We don't do Diet Coke, we've only got Diet Pepsi, is that ok?". On every other occasion I've ever been asked that the answer has always been yes... But given the company I was in, it was best to order a lemonade instead!

Back to BA lounges, and there's nothing quite like sitting down to a fattening meal or lounge snack with a Diet Coke. Somehow, it makes more sense than adding 100 wasteless calories to your daily intake, when those calories can be better used devouring another bag of Kettle Chips and some Walkers Shortbread instead!
