I would book directly with Aman and after letting them drop you there, stay the two or three last nights at the Uma Paro and walking up the Tigers nest. I found the Amankora in Paro soulless like a college camp with a cramped comunal dining room and too many competing Aman managememnt people present.

Fortunately the ambience is perfect at the other Amankora.

I visited Uma Paro and found it quite colourful and pleasant, not polished and designed.
