Often you can see gates on the DL iPhone app 2-3 days in advance. DL.com only shows "connecting gate" on your itinerary - aka your arrival gate in JFK but not departing gate for the second leg. iPhone app shows both.

However dranz is right that gates listed that far in advance probably change at least half the time.
