RJ had a few flights in 2003, gradually (very slowly) increasing. TK then started back in 2008. It was really in 2009 that quite a handful of airlines picked up the route - GF, BN and ME, and again in 2010 a few more.

Note that MEA manages to fill a daily A321 on BEY-BGW and back, as well as EBL quite a few times a week. Apparently quite a handful, especially on the EBL flights, connect to/from LHR and CDG.
