Once upon a time I used to collect miles with CO but no longer do as I now mostly fly AC and collect miles there.
Unfortunatly for me I have an upcoming TPAC flight with UA in economy (not my airlines of choice due to the outdated hard product) and it appears I could possibly use some of the 90k "orphan" miles still in my UA/CO account, for which I have no use, to upgrade this flight.
A seat up front would be much better than the middle seat in the back I am currently booked in however I would like to be able to claim these miles in my AC as I can make a better use of them there . Is it possible to mix and match like this and if so how do I go about doing it?
Thanks!
Yes you can.. when you view the itinerary online at United.com and click on the upgrade button.. if you select the mileage upgrade you can specify if the miles will come from the account on the reservation or another account. You will need your PIN to do the upgrade from your MP account.
