I will be A3 *G after a SAA flight to FRA this week.
Two weeks later I will return to South Africa on Turkish Airlines.

Can I access the CIP Lounge in IST without *G card which I obviously don't have yet? Would a printout with reflection of my status be enough?

I am not sure if I should credit the TK flight to Miles & Smiles and then ask for a Status Match. This would mean that my status won't be shown on the boarding pass. I thought I read in another thread that TK sometimes only sends out cards after a flight with them. I would really like to get TK *G as I am not so sure about A3's future.

I could also get my boarding pass with my A3 status on it and then before boarding change from Miles and Bonus to Miles & Smiles at the gate if that improves my chances to access the lounge. I had a bad experience with that in the past and miles were not credited correctly. So I am not so sure if that is a good idea.

What do you think about my plan? Is it worth a try or should I leave it?
