Just got back from a trip to Vegas. Played mini at the Cosmo. They had $25 tables open all the time, even on weekends. The drink service was atrocious. We were staying there, so it was convenient to gamble downstairs, but it was a good 15-20 minutes minimum in between servers, sometimes we wouldn't see one for 30 minutes. If we bugged the dealers, and they told the pit bosses, they were fairly indifferent. I really lost my stomach for baccarat this last trip. About 1600 up the first day. Proceeded to immediately lose 400 then 350 and walked away. But that's why it's called gambling. On another note, if you do stay at the cosmo, the identity points are pretty sweet because you collect points in restaurants and for your room stay. We paid for really nice steak dinners at STK for 6 of us using identity points and still had points to spare to spend in stores, etc.
