On a couple of recent domestic flights i've listened to some flamboyant announcements onboard, delivered by the same Purser (who shall remain nameless )

He speaks with a very smooth, soothing Jazz FM tone with quirky use of respectfully and please.

"Respectfully, we ask that you please pay particular attention to the safety video"

Very charming, and droll in equal measure. Lord, the ladies of Morningside loved him and he seemed to enjoy talking to them. I just couldn't quite figure out if the charm was genuine or masking underlying contempt . Spiced up an otherwise routine flight.
