not really. I was trying to figure out which centers have availability in case I can book an appointment when I'm in the area for work.

I did find the answer to my question in another thread here on FT: since airlines are giving GE for free to their elites, certain centers (ie. SFO, ORD..) are swamped. Others are not, and I guess NYC is not also because there are multiple options (EWR, JFK, downtown). I did see that HNL has little or no wait - in case anyone needs another reason to go to HNL

The same thread reported some mixed luck with walk ins: SFO is unlikely to do it (because swamped), other locations are. And of corse, YMMV.
