My first thought was to simply add new pages. The last time I did this (a few years ago), I sent in my passport along with a form, and I got it back in two weeks. I could have sworn that it was free of charge, making it a no-brainer.

I see that it now costs $82 to add new pages to a passport!

At that price, you might as well get a completely new one for $110....
