I'm going to try to steer this thread back on topic...perhaps those wanting to debate the price of a new elephant could do so in a separate thread?
I was there back in March and had a wonderful stay, but am curious to hear more about low season in Khao Lak. One of the attractions of this resort for us is the proximity of beachside cafes like Rim Lay. When we were there in March, I asked if they stayed open during June and July and the response was, "it depends how many people are here." I'm hoping someone (maybe Condition One?) here could provide a firsthand report.
