No axe to grind. The AMS accident was just bad, inexcusable, about as bad as the Colgan one (no axe either BTW), but it involved a check pilot, who was supposed to be very senior and capable, ultimately no better than the Colgan kids. Reality however is that that crash is consistent with their record. Just look at airsafe.com for details. That's where I got the comparison with Iran Air from BTW.
