I've called the Executive Club and they are unable to help me which really blows my mind. Not sure if anybody here might have any tips for me. I'm trying to book a OW ticket that looks like this: TXL-LHR-DFW-LAX. The mileage search on ba.com is so archaic that I can't even put in specific times or connecting cities. Basically, I can only put TXL-LAX in the search options as far as I know.

What comes up isn't the exact flights I need. I'm flying BA to LHR and then AA metal from LHR to LAX through DFW. I do include partners and 1 AA flight comes up but it's LHR-LAX direct. That would be great, but I'm trying to fly with a friend who is already booked through DFW.

Any pointers? Maybe I'm not doing something right. Oh and to top it off, I'm doing a reduced mileage ticket so am paying like a co-pay as well as taxes. That's the part they couldn't help me with on the phone. She said it wasn't possible. I know it is because I booked my ticket to Europe while on the phone with her. She learned something new. And yes, I did check MileSAAver availability on AA.com and ExpertFlyer and the seat I need is there waiting for me!
