Why rely on anecodotes on FT when the property can directly answer your question?
I did and was told they were waiving the cancel deadlines on all NOLA properties and that none of the hiltons in NOLA were taking new reservations for arrivals today or tomorrow.

Reason I didn't call in the first place was I didn't want to distrurb the property if I didn't have to since they were probably getting a lot of phone calls due to the bad weather and was wondering what other FTer's experience has been.
