Presented the boarding pass to the gate agent this morning on a Gatwick to Verona sector bleep and red light shows
Gate agent says you have been moved to 2C thank you I say then turns to colleague saying I can't scribble over his I Phone how do we do the seat change? Colleague unsure so given a piece of paper with agents staff I'd number and a note to show crew confirming upgrade
Mentioned to purser who said don't worry have it on my I pad
Settled into seat pressed the back button on BA App boarding card updated with new seat number but still showing Euro Traveller
pretty nifty so now I know how to do it next time but surprised gate agents or crew unaware of how to do this
