3 million Thai Bahts for an elephant of that age is quite different from the amounts that I was told by a couple of park owners in Chiang Mai, but if Namwan's owner is able to get that amount, it will no longer be an issue for him for feed his many elephants.
On the other hand, if USD 95,000 is the required price, it would, in fact, not be easy for the hotel to collect that amount.

We appreciate your advises and concerns of the baby elephant and we certainly understand your feeling toward the young elephants. We heard about the story of Rara too and it is very sad for us when hearing her passing. We certainly don't want the same thing happens to Namwan. We will check if there is a possibility to let her spend somtimes with other elephants in the elephant camp in Khao Lak. We will check with the owner of both.
