Just to update, I did get upgraded to an executive suite, which was extremely nice, though only had one bed, so it required us to request a cot and have another person on the couch

Also, like many people mentioned on this thread, the elevators were in repair and since the hotel required you to change elevators on the 11th floor, getting to from street to room sometimes took 10 mins.
