The smaller lounges are on pier C and E (not D). In fact the largest lounge is on pier D. Although, it is stated that *A G can only use pier C and E lounges but they did make exception. I have been in D pier lounge few times using my A3.
Also pier D lounge although it is the largest but it does not have shower facilities. Only C and E do have shower.
The largest D pier lounge has never had the Star Gold logo at the door like the others do, but they do indeed allow Star Golds flying Y access to this lounge(unless this has changed from a month ago)
